Dr. Houp has always been my go to veterinarian for my horse from routine exams to emergency situations. She goes above and beyond for not only her patients but also makes sure to take the time to throughly explain to me everything she does or recommends so that I can make informed decisions about the care of my horse.

My family and I truly don’t have the words to fully express our gratitude to Dr. Anna Houp and her team. She saved our dog’s life. Our golden retriever, Lady, had ingested a foreign object. We took her to an out-of-town emergency vet clinic for an X-ray, which revealed an obstruction in her intestines. We were quoted an astronomical price for surgery. We decided to take her back home. It was a Sunday, and we spent a long, scary night unsure what to do. First thing Monday morning, we called our vet. They got Lady in immediately for emergency stomach surgery. We were terrified, overwhelmed, and unsure if we were going to lose our beloved pup. Dr. Houp and her team acted quickly, clearly, and with such compassion. Within minutes, Lady was prepped for surgery. It was a long and complicated procedure, but the care and precision Dr. Houp and her team showed throughout the process was nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Anna Houp didn’t just treat our dog—she treated us like family. She answered every question, stayed in constant contact, and made sure we understood every step of the process. My family and I can’t thank her enough. She gave us more time with our best friend, and we will never forget what she has done for us.
